How subscription works in Square integration

I've successfully setup a test membership with square: https://form.jotform.com/92643344600149.

    1. The payment went through and captured name, email, card number.

    2. The payment in Square processed. Great! :)

    Questions:

    1. How

is the membership charged again? It is not listed as a subscription in square itself. How do we see the next date it will be charged or edit/cancel the subscription?

    2.

Is there a way to pass through other data such as full name, phone, etc from jotform to square.

We are using Card On File feature of the Square. By this way, JotForm users can sell their subscriptions by using Square integration.

When the merchant gets first payment, customer and customer card will be created on the Square Dashboard at the same time. You can see created customers under Customers->Directory on Square Dashboard.

Square doesn't support Subscription via API. Square supports Card On File and provides a card id after the first transaction.

JotForm then stores subscription plan information and card id. By this way, recurring payments are done by JotForm according to related plan (monthly/yearly, etc.). Therefore, in Square dashboard, you will see the card in Customer>Card On File
