User Contributed Dropdown: auto-delete added options.

Hello Jotform support team!

Can you provide a method or extra code to auto-delete "user-contributed checkboxes" on a form after a user is done  (thus resetting to original automatically with each new user/entry). This may require adding an extra option to the "user-contributed checkbox" tool. This would allow Jotform users to not have to delete by hand unwanted options added by users. Perhaps such a solution or an easy workaround already exists?

Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically delete newly added options. The purpose of this widget is to display the options previous users contributed with. 

I'll submit a request to our back-end team to have an option to auto-delete new added options. If this becomes possible in the future, you will be updated via this forum thread.

Just to let you know, you may try using a different type of field if you want to capture an option that is not listed in the field. You may use the Single Choice Field:
