Modify generated form fields from a fillable PDF

I uploaded a pdf but it didn't catch all of the fields and merged some together. Is there any way to edit this? I've tried everything within JotForm.

You can add, delete or modify any fields within your form.

You can also link the form field into your PDF fields.

Unfortunately, if you see any PDF fields that don't have a box, you can still create an equivalent field on your form, but it cannot be linked. Therefore, once the form is submitted, that specific field will not get populated with answer.
