fred_JayAsked on January 24, 2020 at 5:48 PMHelloAfter several tests I can't get both widgets to work together. Either only one seems to generate the info in submissions at a time. The 2 widgets are- "timer" & the total "calculations". (fyi other calculation are working fine)I have tried removing and re-adding the widgets, different browser and devices and clearing the form cacheThe widgets names in the form are:
- calculations y/n
- timer 2
This is the form:Secret Shopper v1
Please and Thank You,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. I was able to identify the cause of issue.
The Timer widget data will not be available in the Submissions if the widget HIDE property is ON.
I suggest you set the HIDE property to OFF instead. This should fix the issue.
Since the Timer widget option Display Time was already set to NO, the widget will not be seen on the form anymore. So no need to set the property HIDE to ON.
I hope this help. Let us know if this still did not resolve the issue.

Hello
Yes, thank you very much :)
Now that its work I have tested it several times and every times the timer result is just a few seconds. Even though Im timing it with a stop watch and the average time is 1m : 28s
Thanks

If I understand the next issue, you are saying that the Timer was stopping or being reset at some point so the result is a shorter time on submission.
Can you please elaborate further on the issue.
I did checked and test on my form but so far I could not replicate the same issue. There result time in submission has variance.

Hi
Basically in the tests since we got it to work when I fill out the form it take (on average 1min and 28 sec) according to a stop watch that I'm using to time me going through the form fairly fast just hitting one of the choices and using cut/paste for the comment. But when I then go to the results that are being emailed to me. It's 6 sec , 9 sec etc...nothing close to what the stop watch is reading
Thank you

It is because it only starts the counting if you reach the page where the timer is added. This does not start when the form is loaded, but it starts when the page is reached. That is why you only see 6 or 9 secs because that's the time you took to fill the last page.
Unfortunately, there's no timer widget available that works with multi page form. I've tested them and same behavior, they only start when you reach that page where the widget is.
Let us know if you have any questions or if you need further assistance.

Wow :( ....thank you for finding out. Please make that known for others it took countless hours of testing and kind of important for users to know. Especially since its the gist of having a timer
Thanks
Side note: Then I'm to assume I can add a timer to every page and then manual add them up?

Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Yes, you can add a timer widget at the beginning of every page and at last you can add up the time form all widgets using a form calculation widget.
Please check and let me know if you have any questions or need any further help.
