we have a payment form that will send an additional charge in a few hours. this has happened multiple times over the last week. we have another form, called "check in" where the patient submits her demographic information, and it comes through later as well, we ask the patient if she checked in again, and she says no! how can we prevent the data from being submitted multiple times? this is scary, for patient payments for sure. especially if she payed a big amount!

Please note that it is possible to prevent multiple submissions from users. Here are few options available:
#1. Unique Submission: You can take advantage of our unique submission feature to block multiple submissions from one system of one The IP address by setting the "Check Cookies Only (Loose check)" or "Check Cookies & IP address (Strict Check)" respectively. Here is a guide to help you set unique submission: How-to-Set-Unique-Submissions-on-a-Form
#2. Unique Question: You can also use our unique question feature to prevent from submitting duplicate submissions. Example: You can set one of your forms question (like cell number or email address) to be a unique question. This will not allow a user to use the same cell number or email address to submit your form. Here is a guide to help you: How-to-set-Form-Limits-Based-on-a-Unique-Question
#3. Use Captcha field: You may use the Google recaptcha on the form: How-to-Add-a-Captcha-Field
Do review and let us know if this helps.

wow i wish that i had known how to view your responses! i didn't know there was a "my questions" button.... would be nice if your site told me how to see the answers to my questions when i submitted my question. OK, I added the "captcha" field, and i'll update you if that is helpful.
