How to make the number of seats available based on the previous user's input on ticket purchase widget?

In a ticket purchase widget is there a way to subtract the number of tickets available based on the number of participants rather than the submission number? If that's not doable what is the best way to make the number of seats available based on the previous user's input?

I understand that you want to display the available slots based on the number of participants selected from the dropdown field. We ares sorry that it is not possible with the Ticket purchases widget. However, you may consider using Quantity Gift Registry widget that allows to select multiple participants on the widget itself.

If you have already received some submissions to the Ticket Purchases widget, you may consider hiding the widget on the form. Please note that deleting a field on the form shall also remove the associated field data from the form.
