Is it possible to copy the values of User contributed dropdown to another same widget on the form?

Is there a way that the user-contributed data can be used throughout the rest of the form?

An example: We ask a client for names of people in their family? User names their family members - Joseph, John, Jill

Then later we have a question like this:

Q1. Who would you trust with money?

A dropdown of the list of people the user provided in the earlier question "Joseph, John, Jill" appear as options.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to copy the values to another widget. Also, based on your example, I am not sure if User contributed widget works for you. Please note that the values added to the widget by one user shall be displaying to another user accessing the form from a different location.

Hope this information helps. Please get back to us if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to help.

So what is an option for doing what I want to do?

    Hi,

Maybe you can use a normal text-field, instead of listing all entered names on a dropdown, which is not possible. You can display all entered names as a text on a paragraph instead, where users can choose who they need to enter in the text box.

Here's a working form you can check: http://form.jotform.com/201614808486055

Let us know if this works for you.
