How do I pre-assign the datesin the form?

Hello,

I'm trying to make a signup sheet and send it.

The sheet I'm trying to make will have these specific things

Date-Name- contact (phone and email)- Topics

The main thing I'm trying to accomplish is to pre-assign dates and send it to faculty to pick from. 

The problem I had is not being able to assign dates, I was able to put the date tab but people have to put the date themselves, which I don't want. I want to put the date for then to chose from.

Is it possible to pre-assign dates? 

In that case, while sharing the form, you have to prepopulate the date in the form via the URL.
