    Hello! We've just got a response from our team. In both of your forms, you're asking users for their bank statements. As per our terms, we do not allow collection of such sensitive information from general public.

    Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the Jotform Service to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to, credit card information and any type of login credentials. You may collect some sensitive information such as social security numbers or driver’s license numbers, but you are required to use best security practices of Jotform Inc. including SSL and Encrypted Forms features. You are solely responsible for compliance with any data protection and privacy laws and rules applicable to the sensitive information.

    If you're not collecting this information from general public but from your own clients, then you need to install two required widgets on your form:
    1. Add the Terms & Conditions widget (or the Short Scrollable Terms widget) for your users to read and agree.
    2. Add the Signature widget so your users can sign and agree to provide such sensitive information.

    If you're okay with installing the above mentioned widgets on your forms, then we can re-enable your account after deleting the offending fields (specified above).

    You can re-install these fields after implementing the Terms and Signature widgets on your forms.

    Let us know how you want to proceed with this.

    We're a non-profit food bank and were hoping to use this as the registration renewal form for our guests, so yes, this will be used solely for our clients and not the general public. 


    Secondly,

    can you kindly elaborate on what SSL is and on how we can encrypt the form and the submissions we receive. We were also hoping to embed this form onto our website, are there other conditions for that that we don't know about? 

    For now, let's go ahead and remove the offending fields so you can reactivate our account. Then I will install the required widgets and then reintroduce the bank statement upload button.

    Thank you for letting us know. I have removed the bank statement upload field in your forms and reactivated your account. You can now add the widgets my colleague has mentioned above.

    As for your other concern, I have moved it to a new support ticket considering it is about another topic.
