Creating a field that will automatic get the content of two other fields

    Hi,

Is there a way to create a field that will automatic get the content of two other fields?

Ex. I will use two different fields for first name and last name.

I also want to setup an additional field with the combination of this first and last name in one field. So when a customer will complete a form and he will state his first name and his last name in two different fields, another (one) field will be automatic filled with his first + last name.

    Will this be possible?

Yes, this is possible, the easiest way to do it is through the Form Calculation widget. I cloned your form for demo. I added the Form calculation widget then on the calculation pad I added the first name and last name fields to concatenate their values.

Please refer to the screencast below:

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Hi, thanks for you answer and it works.

    However...
I have created a Calculation field. Field name will be "Volledige naam CAL"

And I will use this new field (first name + last name) in the mail sender address.
However, when I click in the list of the available field names, this calculation field is not available.

    How to solve this?

Unfortunately, you cannot map widgets into the SENDER NAME of the email template. It will only read plain text fields.

I suggest using a SHORT TEXT ENTRY field instead and just use a condition to combine the First and Last name fields.

Add a condition to populate the "Combined" field with the values from First and Last name fields:

As a result, you can map it to the email template's SENDER EMAIL selection:
