Updating Account Email Address

I setup the account with email j.stevens@cscpasadena.org, but afterwards changed it to r.koonse@cscpasadena.org. We decided it would be better to keep it on mine - the original one, but every time I try to switch it back, it reverts back the r.koonse. How do I get it to stay on j.stevens@cscpasadena.org?
