Product List: price displays 'Free' when the dropdown qunatity option is set to 0

    Hello,

I'm not sure if this was a new change, but on the Payment Gateways, if you are using a quantity selector, if zero is an option, it says Free next to all the products.  It does change to the correct price if you choose any quantity other than zero, but it is confusing to customers to see the Free there.  Is it possible to have it just say no price if zero quantity is selected?

    Thanks!

    Hello @dbrockway,

We apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced.

After checking your account, I have found that you currently have many active forms and I am unaware of which one is causing the issue.

Could you kindly share the URL of the form(s) in question? And any screenshots or screencasts of the issue?

However, I went ahead and checked one of your forms titled IMMH 2020 Conference Specials and I am not seeing this 'Free' message next to any of the products as they are set to 0 quantity.

I changed the form to show the quantity box instead of the drop down as a workaround. But here a clone of the form with the drop down quantity: https://form.jotform.com/202305284992154
If you look at the first 2 products, you’ll see what I’m seeing.

    Hello @dbroxkway,

    Thank you for the clarification.

I have checked you cloned for and I am able to see the issue that you are mentioning. It seems that when using a dropdown to select the quantity if there is a 0 option, then the product displays 'Free' where the price should be.

To resolve this, you can remove the 0 option and start the range from 1 - 10, this way the 'Free' text will not display and you will have the price showing instead. Here is a screencast for reference:

Right, I know that it’s having the 0 that makes it say free. I’m just wondering if it would be better for it to say nothing instead of free. It’s not really free if you are getting 0 of something.

    Yes, that definitely makes sense.

What I can do for you is escalate this issue to our backend team as a Feature Request so that that they are aware of your request to remove the 'Free' text that displays when the dropdown selection is set to 0.

I cannot provide an ETA for the implementation of this change, however, the team will review the request and then decide to move forward with it when they see fit. As soon as we have any updates on this, we will inform you immediately via this support ticket.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with, we are always happy to help.
