Card Form: error message saying "there are errors on the form" when I click the Submit button

Hi I am having issues with an error on the form. I think its the conditional formatting. Its requiring questions that the conditional formatting is skipping if they answer a certain way.

I recorded this video to show the error - https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cY6rIq77up

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting JotForm's support and providing us with a very clear screencast of your issue. :)

You are right about the source of your problem. I think this happens because the questions hidden by conditions are required by default. Thus, even if those questions are hidden, since they are required, the form will think it is incomplete.

To fix this, I suggest that you perform those changes to your form:

    1) Make all "could-be-hidden" fields optional by default;

    2) Tweak your conditions a little. I am working on a fully working demo of what you would like to achieve, with every question being required and all. I will update you on this thread as soon as I got it (ETA <1h).

    Thank you for your patience,

    Regards,

    Simon

    Hello,

Thank you once again for your patience.

I have successfully built a working demo that allows you to require questions based on a user's input. This type of condition, when you click on the "Add a new condition" button, is called "Enable / Require Field".

I invite you to test my demo by clicking here!

The first condition is a bit hackish: instead of targeting the field that blocks the form's submission (I think, in this case, field "2. I totally..."), it targets all the fields that could cause the issue and unrequires them. I have tried to target the problematic field only, but it seems like I could not make it work. Other conditions allow to require some fields so all questions are required.

If the demo works as you would expect, feel free to clone it (related guide: click here).

Let us know how we can be of any further assistance,

    Regards,

    Simon

    Hi,

Can you try it again? I have changed the cloning restrictions on my colleague's demo form. Here's the link again: https://form.jotform.com/202945410402949

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hello,

Yeah, that was me; I was getting lost in all the similar questions. It can easily be changed back to normal!

You can edit the questions' text by accessing their parameters or by clicking directly into the text and starting to type. I invite you to watch this GIF to do so:

    Thank you,
