Is there a way we can do the following in the configurable list:

1. Add an image for "Static" type field. e.g. Image of book along with the name of the book

2.Can we make row wise computation. e.g. Book Price: Static: $30; Qty : number; Total Cost: number : Book Price * Qty

Unfortunately, both options are not possible with the Configurable list widget. We can however try and send a feature request to our back end to check there is a possibility to add an image or file upload field to the widget.
