I want the form to add up how many of the 16 actions were carried out.

On a Form, I have a question about what actions were taken today, listing 16 separate things. I designed the question using a widget called "Checkbox in Dropdown". For each day that the form is filled out, I also want the form to add up how many of the 16 actions were carried out.

Do you know how I can get JotForm to calculate this automatically (so I don't have to do it manually for each daily entry)?

    Thanks!

Please note that there is no built-in feature to calculate how many times an option was selected in submissions each day.

If you want to calculate the number of actions that were selected each day, you need to add "Gift Registry" widget for each day where users can select the actions taken. Here are the steps you need to follow:

#1. Add one "Gift Registry" widget in form for each day and add all the action items. You can set the availability to any high number.

#2. Add condition in form to show the gift registry widget based on the date selected. The following guide should help you how to add condition to show / hide questions based on user's answer: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-how-to-show-or-hide-fields-base-on-user-s-answer

When you access the form and select a date, it will display the respective gift registry widget with the counter.

    Hope this helps.
