I have a test report that I want it to Generate in excel and share it with users once it gets updated. Is there a way to do this automatically or do I have to create the report in My Report section then copy the link and email it?

Hi johannacarroll, thank you for reaching us.

Please kindly try to check our Reports To Cloud app and let us know if it is not suitable for you.

If it is not, to elaborate further, would you like it to be sent to each of your submitters or your team?

    We await your feedback.

    Hi Jessica,

Is there a cost associated with the Reports to Cloud app? Would you please send me the cost.

    Thank you,

    Johanna

There is no additional cost to using the Reports2Cloud app. However, I would like to add that the downloaded Excel file when accessing the generated Excel Report link of your form will always have the most updated submissions of your form. You won't need to generate a new Excel Report download link every time the submissions on your form gets updated. So when someone accesses the Excel Report link, it will have the latest submissions on your form. They just have to download a new Excel file, using the Excel Report link, to get the most recent submissions.

Do we have to have our own dropbox or is that part of the Reports to cloud app?

Is there a size limit to the reports on the dropbox? Who maintains the dropbox (backups)?

Do you use the dropbox thru Jotforms only or can we access standalone?

Hello Johann! There is no such size limit on our side but your Dropbox quota limits will be applied (on Dropbox's side). Our application code will be creating/updating this Excel file on your Dropbox folder.

The file will be created on your Dropbox and will automatically update in real-time as new submissions are received. You can view/download this file's data from your Dropbox folder without any restrictions.

    1. You cannot edit the data of this file in the Dropbox folder. If you do edit; then it will break the integration. In such a case; simply delete the file and next time when a new submission is received on your form, a new Excel file will be created with all the form submissions data in your Dropbox folder.

    2. You also can't rename the file. If you rename it; then a new file with the previous name will be created as soon as a new form submission is received and that Excel file will be used for further updations.

If you have any further queries, let us know.

    Thank you!
