Attachments Missing

I emailed about this before and dont remember getting a response. I am a paid user and sometimes when a report is submitted the PDF and image attachments are missing in the email. Is there any reason this could happen? My work colleges and head office are starting to feel JotForm may not be the right solution for us, but I feel that maybe its something I can adjust. Could this maybe happen if the image size is too big??? Do I need to limit the broswe file number allowed and size maybe? The latest one I missed had a PDF and two images (File 01 = 6mb) and (File 02 = 5mb) Also when you limit file size is that per file or total for that field?

I am sorry for the trouble caused to you. I did check email alert of your last edited form " Incident Notification Report" and found that you have configured it correctly to attach submission PDF document. It seems you have also configured email alerts to send uploads as attachment as well.

Please note that email alerts has 5 MB of attachment limit. If you exceed the attachment limit, files will not be attached, but a link will be added in the submission email. Have you received submission emails with download link?

The attachment limit is of total file size. If the total file size of uploads + submission PDF is less than or equal to 5 MB, the files will be attached in the email.

    Hope this helps.

5MB is very small any chance they could at least update to 10MB.

What would also be great is an option on the field to reduce file size. (Not talking about limiting)

But for example in the settings if I tick reduce file size when a user takes a 5 MB picture on their phone that it reduces the file size for you automatically.

    Just an idea !!!

I never received a link to the attachments, is that a setting?

If I add the form field for the browse file fields will that become the hyperlink?

    Hello,

I never received a link to the attachments, is that a setting?

I can see that you have modified your Email Notifications, you would have to manually add the fields that contain attachments.

If I add the form field for the browse file fields will that become the hyperlink?

Depending on the size of the file, they might just be hyperlinks yes.

In this case, to make sure that you will have access to the files just by clicking on the hyperlinks, you can go to your account's settings (https://jotform.com/myaccount/settings) and make sure that Require log-in to view uploaded files is unticked.
