I would like the user to pick from a number of text entries, and I would like the user not to have to do any typing if possible. I like the way the contacts app works on an ios device, so something similar would be great.

sorry, that is a completely different issue. I want to use this for text, not numbers and I haven't build the form yet.

Can you please share more information on how you would like your form to work?

Do you want the text field to automatically guess an output?

    Looking forward for your response.

Almost like a big scroll wheel sorted alphabetically, almost like the ios contacts. Assume you have a few hundred text entries you need to scroll through fast.

    Hello,

Would all of those entries be grouped together? (as in no filtering).

It is possible to rapidly scroll through a dropdown on mobile, but depending on the number of entries, maybe the autocomplete widget will be a better fit (https://eu.jotform.com/widgets/autocomp). It will minimize the input from the user while potentially offer a better experience than a massive scrollable list.

    Hope this helps.
