    Hi,

    Re: 210304415948957

I'm using the Bilingual option for this form and I get problems with the elements when the language choice changes.

I have custom CSS inserted, I always run into issues with the French text being longer. The elements do not always appear, or locate, on the form as they do for English.

I suppose I could create new elements for the French side and hide them for English and visa versa when using French version. I whish there was another option like different CSS code based on language used.

Perhaps there is an option I have over looked. Thanks!

    best, Robert

    Hello Robert,

Thank you for contacting JotForm Support.

I reviewed your form titled AAC FUN @HOME LEAGUE and I was able to see some placement changes on your form fields when the language of the form is changed. Unfortunately, it is not possible to alter the styles of the form based on the selected language.

The CSS of a form is automatically applied and it cannot be stalled or changed based on conditional logic.

I believe your best option would be to use the conditions of the form to show and hide specific fields for each language and you can then use different sets of CSS to change the styles of each field.

    Hi,
Yes, I was thinking that would be my only option. I have done this in the past so I will look at what needs to be changed. I could also clone the form and make the clone a French version, I have also done this in the past as well.
    Thank you for your help.
    Best,
    Robert

    Hi Robert,

Yes, that would be one of the options, Cloning the form and creating a French version.

Please try those and if you need further assistance.

Let us know and we'll be more than happy to help.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Just an FYI.

I was able to resolve the problem by injected CSS; font size, element widths, margins, text format and language options.

All is GOOD! :) No reply required.

    Best, Robert
