What exactly is submissions?

Seeking to purchase Jot Form but need some explanation as to what is meant by number of submissions.

A submission is data from your form after it's sent. Each time a submit button is clicked on a form, new submission is created, from the data in the form.

This means that your forms can be submitted (sent) 100 times in a free plan.
