Embedding Form Into WordPress Homepage

I am trying to embed my generic contact inquiry on my wordpress homepage. Because it's the home page, it is not using the gutenberg editor or part of a "page" block. I'm trying to embed it within a widget. I'm new to website design and using a pre-made/purchased theme. This might be part of my issue with the homepage and widget vs block. I've indicated html and tried the embed code but it doesn't connect. Is there a way to embed my jotform contact form on my wordpress homepage?

    Thanks!

    Hi dnhendon,

You can actually embed the form using the Embed element in Wordpress, and the direct form link. I've launched a Wordpress website and managed to embed the clone form into my homepage. Kindly follow the steps below:

    1) On your homepage edit mode, click on the plus button on the top left,

    2) Type "Embed" and click on the element,

    3) Enter the form url.

As you can see my embed form is visible on the homepage.
