The workflow is not working correctly

    Hi guys-

I've been trying to develop a custom approval workflow.

However, notification emails don't appear to be working correctly.

For example, on my form, "Petros Orders", when I select PI for insurance, I don't see any emails coming to email address that I have set up as the condition (james.petros@myalliedpain.com). Instead, I get multiple emails at another address (james@karunlabs.com) which is supposed to be activated farther downstream in my workflow (i.e. after "edit" of form by manager at james.petros@myalliedpain.com and selection of "approved" in approval status section of form).

See URL below. Not sure what I'm doing wrong to cause abnormal flow, duplications, etc.

I see you have disabled the workflow.

So May we know if you are working with the form conditions and notification email configurations to trigger the workflow?

I see the manager is getting the emails from our server logs:

Are you unable to receive it? Have you checked the spam or Junk folders?

You may apply another condition to your existing conditions that if Get Page URL contains edit and another condition is approved then send an email to james@karunalabs.com. In this way, the user would not get emails before the manager approves by editing the link.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks.

I am working with the "Petros orders" form conditions and notification email configurations to trigger a custom workflow.

I disabled the approval flow since my workflow is more complex. Is that the right decision? In this way, I guess the whole flow chart I had put together is not needed-- correct?

I tried adding the condition you suggested, but it did not change anything. Still getting emails at james@karunalabs.com prematurely. Kindly help.

I am sorry, in the previous post I mentioned adding another condition that contains edit keyword but there was a little mistake in my screenshot. It should have an "ALL" check and not "Any" just like this:

Both the conditions should be true. Also, you may add any other field which the manager will be clicking like any comments fields or the manager's signature.

Which field's manager would be filling?

The field which manager should be filling needs to be checked in the conditions that should trigger the email to james@karunalabs.com

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks.
