Update mini date picker widget value using conditions

I have a field called, "(TD) Trial Date" the the person, enters a date for the event. If the event date changes because COVID-19, a new date is entered in field called "New Trial Date".

I tried using some logic to have the "New Trial Date" also change the "(TD) Trial Date" as well, It doesn't work.

Can you offer a method to accomplish this?

Please keep in mind that the value needs to be enter normally into the form to trigger the condition.

If you are attempting to enter the value from the tables page, the conditions will not be triggered.

If you are normally entering the values, can you please provide the form in which you are applying the logic for us to test it?

The date entered for (TD) Trial Date may need to be changed if the editor know it at the time of cancelling for CV-19. If they enter a new date in the date field that appears, I need it to replace the date in the (TD) field. My logic is not doing this. I do see that your demonstration is successful.... not mine.

So it must be the logic I entered... Thanks for the help...

I believe the issue is that you are using the mini date picker widget.

Can you please attempt replacing the widget that you are currently using for the conditions with the regular date picker widget?

Please create the same condition with the new fields after that and the condition should work.

Thank you, It works in a fashion, the original date is deleted, but is not replaced by the new date. Is this, also because I'm using a widget for the (TD) date?

I changed the date for (TD) to regular date picker. This works but I don't like the format, the other dates(widgets) can display the month as text, the regular one can't. I don't like the inconsistency.

So, back to, can I update the widget date using the regular date field?

I have looked into this as per our chat conversation. I have cloned your form and since you didn't have a New Trial Date field anymore I renamed the other Trial Date field. Then I applied the following condition:

Please put back the new date field onto your form as well, apply the condition, and if it still doesn't work please let us know so that we can check it on your live form.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pass the date picker field date value using condition to the Mini Date picker widget.
