    Hi

Im trying to build a calculation form, for this i need to have numbers to stand like this 123 456.89, im trying to use the input mask for this, but when i create a input mask, its no longer possible to paste numbers into the field, it comes before the input mask. I really need to allow the user to paste numbers into the field as there is a lot of numbers to put in, pleaste help

im having trouble to paste in smaller amounts, i need for the user to add any value between 1-100 000 000, also i get error when using preview that there is not only numbers in the feild. Finally the calculation feild seem to have stopped working after i change to a input mask, is there any other way to get this format to work?

Do you already have a form that you've started working on this with? I checked your account and I can see there's a couple of forms but I'm not sure which one you wanted this on unless it's going to be on an entirely new form.

If you were to use a Number Field you can actually set a Min and Max for it and that should not affect it as that would work with the range you are seeking to add but that would not work with the text field so you wouldn't be able to use the masking ability over that.

Also, how is your calculation currently configured? We would need to see what you have so far to better understand and help you with this problem.

The form im working on is the last updated one, titeled "Årsredovisning ny", in it you can se one feild that i have tried to fix with input mask and calculation form a bit down from it. The calculation feild is correct, it works if i dont use input mask, but i need to help the user so it says like XXX XXX XXX

After running some tests I can see what you mean. The value gets inserted from left to right, so if it's

    1240 it gets something like 124 0-- --- , of course with numbers it should be --- --1 240

Also the calculation widget only considers the first 3 digits:

I forwarded this issue to our developers so they can look better into this.

You will get an update once they have news on this issue.

Let us know please if you need more assistance.

    @tenzher

I couldn't seem to reproduce the problem or maybe the info wasn't cleared enough. I can paste numbers on the input mask with the same ordering. This is the main issue all about? Can you recheck again please?

    Example, this works properly.

paste into input mask? Image 1 Screenshot 20

Anyway, this was already on the developers list but there is no updates as of now so hopefully they can check and investigate this the soonest time possible but if you could provide a screenshot that illustrates the problem, that would give us more idea on the reported case.

    Regards!

no not really, i think Carina example is right on the spot, when pasting in to the form it should come to the right not the left, and also if its a space beween numbers it wont calculate properlly

I also just discover that if using text boxes without inout mask, the calculationfeild wont calculate if i only paste in numbers, i have to write in one of the boxes manual otherwise it wont react to the paste in numbers
