Email address section for approval flow

    Hello,

    I have created a form and people have already started using it to sign up for our Christmas program. However, I incorrectly added the email address field. Instead of choosing the template for email address, I simply typed in "email address" as the question text. Now, when I wan't to create an approval flow, I cannot populate emails.

    My question is: If I change the email address field now, will it change it for those who have already filled out the form? Also, will it mess with my spreadsheets if I change it now?

    Hello,

    If you add a new email address field it will be a separate field than the text version. So in the tables a new column will be generated for this email field. The old field will still exist and the data there will stay there. You could manually change them to add them to the correct email column from the table.

    If you delete the old field all the emails in the old column will also get deleted when you do that, so you may want to hide the field first until you get all the information out of them.
