Submit Page Back Button Problem

    Hello,

The settings for the submit button do not have a "back" button option. We would like people to have the option to go back and review their form if desired before they click "submit".

Is there a way to add a "Back" button on the same row with the submit button?

Also, there is currently a "Back" button BELOW the submit button. We have tried to delete it but it does not disappear. In the settings it looks like it belongs with the page break for the "About Me" page (at the beginning of the form), which shows the "Next" button, but does not have a "Back" button.

We do not know how the buttons for that page break were split, or how to correct it.

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The Back/Next buttons are tied to the page breaks, and show depending on if there is a previous page to go back to, or a next page to continue to. So the first one doesn't have a Back button, and the last one doesn't have a Next button. However, they can be manually hidden as well in the properties of each page break.

If you wish to hide the last Back button, you can open its Properties and hide it in the Advanced tab.

Currently the way to let users review their answers before submitting would be to use the Review Before Submit widget. However, this widget hides the Submit button, while adding a new button for reviewing the form on the same row as the Back button. So the users would not have an option to review or submit, they would be forced to review first, and then submit.

Would this work for your current use case?

    Best regards,

    Thank you for the information.

We have a "random" Back button on the last page.

We realized some of our page breaks were missing, so we put them back in. All of our page breaks have unique names to help us organize. That is how we identified that the random Back button that is visible at the END of the last page of the form, is actually connected to the FIRST page break at the beginning of the form.

We also added unique names in the Field Details and the random Back Button has the same information as the first page. This is what we see:

In the preview mode, it appears like this - which is exactly what we want to have in our form.

We did not realize the connection to the last page until we tried to "hide" the back button as you mentioned (though it should NOT be visible at all since it is connected to the page break for the very first page). This is what we see in the builder when we hide it in the element settings:

And this is what happens in the preview mode:

We are happy with the results of this random Back button - we want a Back button where this is on the last page of the form. We don't know if its connection to the first page break will cause a problem.

We had tried to delete this element (random Back Button) from the last page before we found this connection, but it simply does not delete.

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

The back button on the last page is connected to the first Page Break field. If you don't want to show it hide the Back button of the first Page Break field.
