    Hello Jotform team,

I just faced a confusing situation with the Spreadsheet to Form widget. The widget stops working when it's hidden.

There's an option inside the widget settings to fix this, but it's somewhat difficult to discover (took me 30 min to figure out) and not obvious that the widget doesn't work if hidden but the option isn't set.

I imagine it more user friendly if that would be automatically the case and not an option. But if that's a works as designed, a bit more explanation would be helpful to educate us users. :)

We would like to apologize for any confusion. As you may already know, with the "Run in the Background" enabled, the Spreadsheet to Form widget would work automatically only if it is filled by condition. Hence being the widget hidden on the form. Hiding the field from its properties (How-to-Hide-Form-Fields), however, will not autofill the widget with a value whether the "Run in the Background" or "Autofill by Condition" are enabled or not.

I understand that you have contacted us with a request to update the description of the "Run in the Background" option of the Spreadsheet to Form widget to will clearly explain how it really works.

I have forwarded your concern to our developers. Although we cannot provide a timeframe for when it will be updated, please be assured that we will let you know on this ticket once the update has been applied.

Feel free to let us know if you need any further assistance.
