So my form works great, I get an e-mail in Outlook that has all the information on it that I want / need.

However I used to be able to hit the reply button in Outlook and the the reply e-mail would open up as:

    John Smith

Which was great, but now after doing some updates to my form all I get is this when I hit reply:

    John Smith <noreply@jotform.com>

For the life of me I can't figure out what I changed or how to change it back,

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Skip,

For a while now, this changes/updates in the Notification E-mail reply option had been implemented for the security reasons.

The custom Reply-To e-mail now needs verification before it can be use. Please refer to this guide on how to set it up

    1. -How-to-Add-a-Custom-Sender-Address-to-an-Email-Alert

    OR via this method also

    2. -How-to-use-Mandrill-to-Send-Emails-From-Your-Own-Email-Address

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks!

hmmm... So I followed that first link...

Now in Outlook when I tested it I get:

John Smith  -AT My E-Mail Address -   (sorry the text editor keeps dropping the >< )

SO If hit reply in Outlook I'm now sending an e-mail to myself instead of to John Smith.  I have to physically make a new e-mail and copy his message over to e-mail him back.

I should be getting: John Smith –AT HIS E-Mail Address -

Tried several different settings, but every time in the From part of the e-mail it gives me the persons name and either the norply or my own e-mail address.  It should have their e-mail address.  It was just working that way before I updated my form and now no go...

    What am I missing?

Please attempt the second method provided by our colleague, this should enable to From field on your email notification. Thus allowing you to display from who the email is coming from as opposed to the noreply@jotform.com email. Outlook may be somewhat strict when it comes to the fields it retrieves values from, so this may help alleviate this issue.

    The Guide is the following:

    Set-Email-Field-as-the-Notification-Sender-Email-Address-with-Mandrill

Do let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you.
