HIPAA Forms - File storage

    Hi,

I'm wanting to set up a Proof of Vaccination form and trying to understand all the ins and outs of the the HIPAA option.

    • If I use the HIPAA version of the template, does the submitted forms stay on Jotform servers?
    • I'm seeing a note that says the Dropbox can't be integrated with HIPAA forms - is that correct?
    • Is there anyway to do just one form on the HIPAA servers or do I have to move the entire account over?

    Thanks much for the help!

    Hey there,

The way HIPAA forms work is that each submission has extra layers of encryption and they are stored on dedicated servers that are apart from the rest.

That is also related to integrating dropbox which is not possible due to the encryption.

Also, as it is stored on a completely different server, the whole account needs to be transferred to that account

I hope that answers your question
