Can I break a form into separate tabs and work with conditions?Asked by systemprop2014 on May 01, 2014 at 11:01 AM
An issue I have seen with this widget is when using form collapse in the form to hide or show parts of the form depending on a selection by the user, is that tabs are created for the form collapses. When you click on the next tab in the form, you don't see the next page, but you see an empty page and keep seeing empty pages on the next tab and next till you get past the number of form collapses you have in the form.
I have tried hiding, unhiding, opening and closing the forms in different patterns and cannot get the extra empty tabs to not show.
That's how it works with the current version of the tabs widget. This doesn't work with conditions currently. As long as your form contains page break, it will convert it into tabs despite the conditions you have added to the form.
Have you tried removing the conditions first and see how the page break works with tabs? Please try to clone your form and do the changes there. If there's anything you need help with, let us know.
