Alphabetic field validation error triggered when non English character are used.

A report came in today from a user, that a form could not be completed due to a requirement that did not make sense.  There is a Validation on that field, requiring Alphabetical characters only. That's what the user's input was (alphabetical - in Greek) but still the warning message kept coming and the form could not be submitted.

After checking it out myself, I found out that all fields that had a validation rule had the same problem. As a counter measure, I removed the validation from the field properties, which is not ideal.

    Hello George,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I created a demo form and I am able to replicate the exact same issue you are having. I am creating a bug report and sending it to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

    Thank you!

Sorry, if you are expecting to get non-English characters we do not recommend using the Alphabetic Validation. It will only work with English characters at this time.

If you need help with disabling them on your form please let us know.
