I want to collect credit card info through a secure form.    I tried it and got an error.    Is this allowed?

Unfortunately, we do not allow forms that would capture credit card information using our basic textbox field. It is a risk for your client to submit the Credit Card information as the data will be submitted in Text Format. We also consider it as Phishing, please check our Terms of Use: http://www.jotform.com/terms/.

You may consider using our Payment Integrations such as Paypal Pro. With Paypal, you can setup if transaction is Authorization Only, meaning, no payment is captured. You will charge the user manually to your Paypal Account Dashboard.
