How to set up a registration form with a limit registration for certain dates

I have a website with a registration form. People register and write in the date that they want to register for. I want to limit registrations for a certain date and for a certain type of registration, there are two options, one as team member and one as a participant. I would like to add the dates so that they chose one when they register instead of writing it in. I want to limit the date of 8/29-31 to 24 team members and 16 participants.
