    Hi,

Form ID is unique and system generated. When you clone a form, the cloned version doesn't retain the original form's ID. The cloned version will have its own.

Unfortunately, you cannot keep it the same.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

I think you couldn't understand my query,

The form i cloned has a different form ID that will not not remains same as the real one, but will the Parent ID of each fields in the clone form remains same as the field's parent ID of the real one?

If yes , how can u make this same, so that we can do testing in the clone?

    Hope u got my query.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

When you clone a form It means you have made a copy of the form,The field in the cloned form remain the same as the fields in the original form what changes is the form ID.

Form ID is the unique identification of the form and is generated by the system so when you clone a form it is assigned a unique identification  but the content of the form remains the same as the contents in the original form so this means you can carry out your tests using the cloned form.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you for using JotForm!
