Is it possible to add a unique reference ID into a form

Would it be possible to add a unique reference ID into a form, so that when I view the submitted forms, all the different submitted forms display their own unique reference ID in the results and also in the download excel file.

If so, could you give me some guidance on how to achieve this.

You can also use the following widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/random_value_generator if you want to show the unique ID to your submitters.
