I've noticed through the search tool that there have been several questions regarding if and when you will be adding the Square payment tool. I currently use Square for most of my payments. From what it sounds like you have submitted some time ago. Is this going to happen or do I need to use a PayPal account?

Hi Lisa,
No, currently that is not one of the available integrations, all of our available integrations can be seen here http://apps.jotform.com/category/payment_processing
I will however notify our developers that you would like to see this as a feature and they will notify you though this thread if and when they implement this into jotform.
Until then you can use any of the other payment processor options available.

Thanks, Ben. It just seems that for more than a year now this has been the response with no updates to those strings. Does that pretty much mean it's not going to happen? Just curious…how long does it typically take to make a decision on adding a new payment option? I'm sure it's more involved than adding on, but since it's taken this long, I'm just deciding what my next move should be. Thanks.

Hi Lisa,
Well yes, some features and requests do get left behind or get totally dismissed and it all depends on the priority.
Since there are over 1.000.000 people using JotForm Builder there are many requests that we see each day and to be able to accomplish everything our developers get assigned to the features based on the priority.
Now this priority is impacted by how many users are asking to see this in JotForm, how long it would take, is it safe to have on jotforms and many other factors, how important it is, etc.
Now I have already raised a ticket to our developers and they will be taking a look at this as well and based on what they decide this might be worked on right away or at some later point and unfortunately we are not able to know or tell when that might be.
What I can tell you is that our developers resolve many bugs found (these are always a priority) and add many new features to JotForm Builder, even if that might not seem so.
I hope that this answers your questions and please feel free to request any features that you might want to see and as mentioned after taking a look at them.
They will update you through this thread if they add this as an option to the JotForm.

Thanks for the reply, Ben! I'm sure JotForm has many people using it as it's a great tool and you're developers must be inundated on a regular basis! I do appreciate the follow up and detailed reply. While not my preference and I guess I would prefer something more definitive as it relates to Square, I'll work with my PayPal account until I hear something else. Thanks again!

Unfortunately as mentioned I can not give you any definitive answer, but our developers should take a look at this by tomorrow (they usually do) so we might get some updates on the priority it was assigned to.
So do check back with us on this thread in a day or two if you do not get any notifications and we will see if there was any progress.

Thank you for posting as well. I have moved your comment to a new thread as well so that we can raise it to our developers - this allows us to see better how many people are interested in having some payment processor available on their forms and implement it accordingly.
