Clearing value so conditional statement won't trigger if answer is changed

    Hi Jotform

When testing our newly created form, we noticed that if someone decides to update a previous selection (without refreshing the page), the workflow from the initial selection is still visible, in addition to the workflow for the updated selection. It would be great if when someone adjusts a previous selection that the form updates accordingly in showing/hiding the correct questions based on the new selection.

For example, when I select Social Post > Bulk social post, the correct questions display. However, if I change my selection to Email > Bulk email, I am still seeing the questions related to the Bulk Social Post selection.

Could you please look into this?

    Thank you!

    Hi Maureen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.

I took a look at your form and after doing a bit of testing, the reason that this is happening is that the value is still selected but you're showing a different field for the second question when it's changed.

What you can do is go into your form settings and change the setting for clear hidden values to clear on being hidden. Then when this field is changed, the hidden fields get cleared as well and it won't be selected anymore and the conditional statement won't be triggered.

Give this a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
