How can i create a form database ???Asked by wanping1990 on October 12, 2014 at 09:46 AM
Hi there ,
I want to ask you how to create a form on gumtree like post an item to show it as a member database.
into this form after the database after i fill up the form
I do apologize, I am not quite sure that I understand your current request.
Is it that you would like to create a form that you can then place on the "GumTree" website and pull data from its database based on the submissions?
If that is the case, I do apologize, that would not be possible because it does not seem possible to embed the form on GumTree and there would be no way to accessing the information on the GumTree database through JotForm.
Or would you like to create a form that would function like the "GumTree" website and it would pull information into a database and then display the submission elsewhere on your website?
If this is the case, you can achieve this on your website with PHP. Using PHP, you can have the submitted data dumped into a database by taking advantage of the http post sending of submitted information. You can then create a custom PHP page that will fetch the information from the database. A good knowledge of PHP would be needed to achieve that result.
A simpler solution, would be to embed a iFrame HTML table or Grid Listing Report on your site.
Here are the steps on how to create the HTML Table or Grid Listing Report"
1. Go to My Forms and select the form that you want the report for
2. Select the Reports Button
3. Select Add New Report
4. Select HTML table or Grid Listing and click Next
5. Select the fields that you want to Show and click Next
6. Copy the iFrame codes provided then paste it onto your webpage's source code.
I hope this helps. If either suggestion is not what you want to achieve please provide us with more information so that we can assist you better. If it is and you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.
