String functions (ie.LEFT, RIGHT, MID)

I just want to ask you, can I use (and how) any string related function?
How can I get - for example - the last three characters of a string answer?

(User would fill a field:

Your name? PETER BLACK

I need the last two letters: CK - how can I get it?)

I don't think we have this one, but you can use our Substring Widget to generate results from a specific field: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/substring.
