Issues with page width and text box width..

In building my form I have somehow managed to make:

    1. text box go over the page border (see text box 'pets')

    2. In the radio buttons at the bottom of the page the text runs off the page rather than fitting into the box

I know it has something to do with the width of the text boxes but each time I fiddle it looks worse....

    Please help urgently.

    Many thanks, Nathalie Rabin

    Hi Nathalie,

I took a look at your jotform and the issue with pets name field was resolved by right clicking on the field and selecting 'Move to a new line'.

The issue with checkbox text can be resolved by adding <br/> (HTML element that creates a new line) in the text in the positions that you want to break the text at.

You can see the jotform with these changes here: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43154791467967

Now to add the <br/> element and have it stay shown on next edit you should use the button in the toolbar. If you double click on the text it will remove all html elements from it.

You could also use bold, italic or any other element in the same manner (in checkbox/radio text).

    Thanks Ben.

It still doesn't seem to do what yours is doing. I double click and it still shows up the same...I know its something simple but cant seem to get it to work. Also I was hoping to have the pet names on the same line as the previous question so didnt really want to move it to the next line. It only did this when I fiddled with the spacing on the questions and field boxes...

    Hi Nathalie,

I double click and it still shows up the same...

You should not double click on the checkbox text. Instead you should click once on the widget and then edit the options as shown in the image. After each edit you must click on the green OK or the changes will not get captured.

    - Double clicking on the text directly will remove all the breaks that are added as well as any other html elements in there.

Also I was hoping to have the pet names on the same line as the previous question so didnt really want to move it to the next line.

Oh, OK. We can change it then. The easiest thing would be to set the label to align to top. I have made this change for you to see if that is what you wanted to have.

Now if that is looking just like you want it and do not want to do all the steps yourself, you can always just clone it following this guide: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL

This is its URL: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43154791467967 (it is the same jotform from above).

Do let us know if you have any further questions.
