    Hi there,

is it possible to have coupon codes that work for all forms that have any payment tool?

That way the customer could choose for what product/service to use the form for.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Cheers,

    Chris

    Hello Chris,

I am afraid that that can't be made possible due to many different factors. Coupons have different effects on products and subscriptions, not to mention that they also work differently across different payment gateways.

With that said, I am afraid the only solution would be to manually add the codes to your forms.

    Sorry about that.

    Dear Neil,

thanks for your reply. What a pity! It would be awesome to give coupon codes to customers that work on all my forms on the website.

Imagine you give a 100 USD coupon code and the customer could use it to buy something for 20 USD and keep the balance of 80 USD to buy something else at later time. Like amazon vouchers. Do you think there is no way to make a widget or app that could support that? I understand that it will be difficult for discount in percentage but fix amounts shouldn't cause any problems or am I wrong?

By the way thanks for the Jot2Tweet app, works like a charm!

    Hi Chris,

Imagine you give a 100 USD coupon code and the customer could use it to buy something for 20 USD and keep the balance of 80 USD to buy something else at later time. Like amazon vouchers.

It seems that you are looking for a coupon, but not in the sense that we have implemented in the payment processing widget, but more of a credit that the user would be able to use up.

For example of $100 USD coupon. Today they purchase a product of $20 and tomorrow another for $30 and then 2 days after that another one of $60 and just pay $10 at that last transaction.

Do let us know if that is what you mean?

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Hi Ben!

Sorry for my late reply. Yes this is exactly what I mean. As long as it works for all forms related to my JotForm account. Is there a way to do that?

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you for confirmation.

Unfortunately no, at least not at this time, but I have asked to confirm what I thought you were asking for. I will relay this information to our developers so that they can see what can be done in regards to this and they will update you through this thread as soon as there is any update in regards to this feature.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
