I've noticed a few translation errors when using the Hungarian version of JotForm. Can I send a list of these to someone, with the correct translations? Thank you.

    Hi Shadae,

I know about and use the "Help Us Translate JotForm" option. I'm talking about expressions that are already translated, but not correctly. Is there a way to report those? For example (the correct versions are in bold, the real meaning of the expressions that you are using now are in brackets)

     Pricing is ’Áraink’ not ’Árképzés’

Label align – auto can stay ’auto’ not ’kocsi’ (car)

    Hover szöveg’ is ’előugró szöveg’

On setup & align: Conditions is ’feltételek’ not ’körülmények’ (circumstances)

Drop down tool: Special is better as ’speciális’ and not ’különleges’ (unique)

Allow multiple is ’többszörös választás’, not ’hagyjuk több’ (leave more)

Full Name: Suffix is ’utótag’ not ’képző’ (in this context)

Text area: Entry limit – letters is ’betűk’, not ’levelek’ (postal letters) (this one made me think before I realized what the original was)

Form tools (Űrlap eszközök, not Ürlap eszközök):

Text area is ’többsoros szövegmező’ not ’szöveg terület’

Check box is ’jelölőnégyzet’ not ’jelölőnégyzetet’ (it’s in accusative)

Drop down is ’legördülő lista’ not ’legördülő menü’ (menu)

     Survey tools:

    Star rating is értékelés csillagokkal

    Scale rating is értékelés skálán

Spinner is maybe’számláló’, definitely not fonógép (that is a spinner machine)

Collapse form is ’űrlap összecsukása’ not ’hiba összeomlás’ (mistake collapse[breakdown])

When I open my forms, and I have an untitled form that should be ’névtelen űrlap’ not ’névtelen forma’ (forma means shape)

Also, edit form is ’űrlap szerkesztése’ not ’edit forma’ and Folders=Mappák not könyvtárak

When sorting my forms: submission count is ’benyújtások száma’, not ’benyújtás gróf’ (gróf is a title of nobleman – this one made me laugh)

These are the ones I've noticed so far.

    Hi,

As mentioned by our colleague @Shadae , you can use that translate link for the translation suggestion and correction you have.

How can I report translation errors? Image 1 Screenshot 20

Just add all of the correction/suggestion translation that you think should be added and corrected using the tool, and we will be able to see this at the back-end to be corrected.

    Thanks.

    Hi jonathan,

    I just wanted to help.

Actually I don't see that translation tool where you both indicated in your answer, it appears in the top right corner only when I start editing my form in Hungarian. Those expressions that I reported never showed up, so I didn't see a way to correct them using that tool. I think I just swich back to the English version, because these errors make the Hungarian one unusable sometimes, which is a pity because this site is so great otherwise. Thanks.

    Hello szaboagnes,

Please be noted that when you suggest translation, it does not go live immediately. It is sent to our back end team for review. It is reviewed manually before getting approved. Once it is approved, the translation becomes live in the next release whenever our developer plans.

If you have suggested translation and it is approved, it will be live soon.

    Thank you!

    Hello szaboagnes,

I would suggest you to please download the following file and translate it to your language:  http://www.jotform.com/help/translate.txt

Please send it to us once you are able to complete it.
