Add notes to submissions without having to actually edit the submission.

We need the ability to insert notes about submissions like in excel, without having to go into the submission.  We can't make the edits in the submission because we have widgets in the form and when you click edit submission jotform can't remember the users selections on all of the different widgets, and since our form is complex we can't remember every choice that a user made on every widget selection.

I have attached a file that shows what it could look like on the jotform submission page.  When the note is made the little box could turn red like when you click on the flag icon.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we don't have this feature to our form builder. A workaround would be to add a field or hidden field and use it as your note area then edit the submissions to add one.

Another workaround would be to integrate your form to Google Spreadsheet and put notes there after you receive the submission. You can put the notes to a new sheet as we don't recommend doing modification to the current sheet of the integration.

Lastly, the widget is optimized to remember selections when editing submissions. I think we'll need to report it into a separate thread.

    Thanks

I agree. We really need to be  able to add notes to our submissions.
