My form is not showing up in IE11 and Firefox when I embed it in my website

    Hi,

I've developed forms that will be embedded in a multiple variant website I have designed using Xara Web Designer 10 Premium. I have already learned that I cannot use the js scripts code because it will show up only once on a page, and all variants are on the same page. I was advised to use the iFrames, which work well in all variants except for the main variant (desktop width). In this variant, the form simply does not show up when opened in Internet Explorer 11 or in Firefox. It does show up in Chrome and Opera (in all variants).

I've asked the question in the Xara support forum, but even the most expert member there can't figure out why there would be such a problem.

Does anyone at JotForm have an idea as to what might be going on?

By the way, in order to test, I created a test form with only one field and no css injection or any other additions. It has the same problem as my more elaborate form that I will be using on the website.

    Thanks for any advice.

Could you please share the URL of the web page in which you have embedded the form? This will allow us to see and make some test to find the reason why the form is not working correctly.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find it in your website: http://quintagyo.com/

    We'll await for your response.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

I'm still finalizing the design of the webpage and need to make sure all aspects are functioning before I upload it ... including the forms (but other aspects as well), so that potential clients will not meet with a dead-end.

I can tell you that the Xara people seem to think it's a problem with the IE11 and Firefox browsers, since the forms of all variants are displaying in Chrome and Opera. I can also inform you that I tested deleting the variant in which the form was not showing up in its entirety, and the problem moved to another variant (the one that is immediately smaller), but the form continued to display in the other two variants.

Do you have any notion of what might be going on without seeing the website, as it is not yet complete?

    Hi,

I checked several of your forms in IE11, FireFox and Chrome and they all load and function without issue.  So it is not an issue with the forms themselves.  Have you tried using the Xara embed code?

Unfortunately it is hard for us to see exactly what is causing the issue without being able to see the page itself.

Wow. You're a lifesaver. I didn't notice the Xara button and apparently the Xara people aren't too familiar with it either. At least with my preliminary testing, it appears to have resolved the problem. I still have to put it on the real webpage (rather than my test page), but I'm confident it will work.

    Thanks very much.

Glad to hear it!  If you still have problems with getting this to work, let us know and we will be happy to see what else we can do.

My form shows up below the webpage rather than on it except on one of my smaller mobile pages.  Any idea why?

    Hi,

Since this is an older thread, please create a new one with a bit more detail about your page and we will be happy to help.

Let us know the URL to your website and the form you are working with.  Also let us know what mobile device you are using so that we can replicate the issue as best we can.
