I have a question about limiting selectionsAsked by bofsks on January 06, 2015 at 08:34 AM
We have been using Jotform for several years. We use forms for registrations for our paddling event. We also use a form for people to select sessions for the event. I am looking for input to get the form working better for us.
We use a dropdown list. Participants choose sessions for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Example: In a drop down menu for Saturday
Intro to surfing - Limit is 8
Intro to paddle strokes - Limit 6 people
Is there any way to put a limit on the number of time a session can be picked? Once the limit of 8 people submit a form choosing intro to surfing can it be removed from the list?
Any feedback or an example would be great.
To confirm, you would like to put a limit on the amount of an item that can be selected by your user?
If that is the case, you can use our Gift Registry widget. This allows you to set a limit on each item and every time a form has been submitted, the next time your form is accessing that item number would be reduced.
I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.
