How to change the dropdown option based on the selection of another dropdown/form field?Asked by websitenum1 on January 31, 2015 at 09:51 PM
I have 2 drop down menu with 3 selections a, b, c, and I like if I change one drop down menu from a to b than the other is also changing to b to be have the same selection all the time
Thank you very much
I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you want to display some other dropdown options if first dropdown option is changed?
There are two possible options available to achieve your requirement:
1. You may like to to take a look at our "Dynamic Dropdowns" widget which should help you achieve your requirement.
2. You can take advantage of our "Conditions" feature to achieve your requirement. Here are the steps to achieve your requirement:
a. Add one new dropdown question for every options you have in your first dropdown.
b. Add condition to check the selected value of the first dropdown question and display the respective dropdown. Please check the screenshot below:
Hope this helps.
