Is there a way to use the unique field based on a calculated value?

    Is there a way to use the unique field based on a calculated value? or one that is a hidden field?

    Hi,

    I want to have a Unique Number generated (may be in a text box) for every form submission and to be visible to user filling in the form.

    Currently the option for unique Id is hidden?

    Hi cnreddy,

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to make the Unique ID field visible while filling out the form. That is because the value for the Unique ID is generated after the form was submitted. This is being done to avoid duplicate IDs if the Unique ID was generated on the actual form. This can also cause confusion if shown on the actual form because when multiple users view the form at the same time then they won't fully complete the form.

    A workaround though, is to add the Unique ID on the Thank you page of your form. Here's a screencast showing how to do it:
