Notification template defaults back to its original after making changes

We set up two "notifications"... hoping to simply copy the HTML from one to the other. Notification #2 WILL NOT accept the HTML code from Notification#1... it keeps defaulting back to your DEFAULT "Question and Answer Template". Go look for yourself. We copied the HTML from #1 and pasted it into #2... and then saved. But it always goes back to your form template. WHY? We don't want the two notification to be different.

    Hi,

That is simply because you have "Enabled" the Hide Empty Fields on Emails option from the form preferences section:

Enabling this option will lock out the tables in the email body, causing your changes to disappear and the template defaults back to its original.

To be able to change the template, disable the option and enable it back after the changes. Do note that this feature is useful if you don't want the unfilled fields to appear in your notification email. Also, note that this won't work if you modify the template.

    Thanks
