background image is showing only one corner

I'm trying to add a background image (behind the form) and once uploaded and added, it only displays an incredibly zoomed in view of one corner of my image.

Are there size specifications for this, or am I doing something wrong? 

I see that the image that you are using as a background is extremely large (5469 x 3643) with 12MB of size. This is resulting the image to show only a part of it. Please try resizing the image to lower that fits the width of the form so that you'll see the difference of the effect of background images. Visiting http://www.picresize.com/ may help you in resizing the image.
