Can you please share to us the URL of the website where you have used your form?
Actually, there is no other means for SSL submissions on the form to accumulate if https or secure URL was not used on the form.
It is possible also that the website where the form was embedded was using secure or SSL certificate. Example, on Facebook pages.
Websites like Facebook, google sites requires secure content only. So, if you put the form on this website, it will automatically use the secure layer for the form also. This will then result to SSL submissions.
I checked your jotform acccount/username gsdir2014 and I can see it is indeed had exceed the limits for SSL submissions already.
We will check further after we get to know more details on how you have used the form or the URL of the website were we can check also.
